Welcome to Earth Little Michael

Just a quick post to welcome Michael to this fine planet of ours. Say hello…
New baby parts below…
He joins his parents Amber and Jason plus sister Alessandra.

Big sis has already broken in her parents so Michael might be able to get away with more as a second child. Or perhaps, they will know how to spot his rascally tricks. Only time will tell.
I love this pose as Mom cradles baby.
Michael calls this “the claw” pose… I think I heard him meow as he did this.
One thing is for sure… he looks like a cool kid. 
Already Michael has made his parents very happy, and all he has done so far is mess up a bunch of diapers. Just wait until he does something really great!

Newborn Baby Photography of Kendall

Baby Kendall is the daughter of David and Kimberly who wanted to get some photos for announcements and sharing with family and friends. Here are the ones that I liked though they may not be traditional newborn style photos. I left the bare baby butt photos out since those are kinda personal.

The photo below to me is the minimum for any portrait. What else do you need to recognize someone?

One day her daddy can show her the watch in this photo and she will not believe how small she was.

If only we could have gotten the dog to look up. They told me that she is deaf,
but that still did not stop me from whistling at her to get her to look at the camera.

This daddy is in love. When he is not playing Mr. Mom, he is flying airplanes to Afghanistan.

In case there is any doubt, this photo should prove that the stork really does bring babies.
And in the end, Kendall was tuckered out and slept like a baby…

Newborn Photos of Baby Alessandra

The name Alessandra could have at least 5 nicknames that can be derived from it: Alli, Sandra, Allison, Liz, Lisa… It is important to think of these things when naming your child. I am just glad that my parents did not name me Art, because nothing good would have come of that in elementary school.

Little Alessandra was just a few weeks old when she got her first studio portraits. She was fascinated by the large softbox and would not take her eyes off of it…  She never fell asleep either so I never was able to take any of the peaceful sleeping baby photos that I had planned. Little Alessandra has red peachfuzz for hair. She will probably be blonde like her mom.

Baby Tyler Newborn Photos

What can I say. Newborn babies are cute and little Tyler was as adorable as they come. I was actually one of the first people outside of the immediate family who got to meet him. We set up a makeshift studio in a very tiny playroom and started shooting in between feedings. Big sister, Lia, was a perfect little helper holding baby brother just right. It was not too long ago when she was just as tiny.
